The 35th annual Meeting of the Society of Virology took place in Heidelberg from March 17th to March 20th, 2026. On Thursday, March 19th, SynthImmune Spokesperson Prof. Oliver Fackler co-hosted the Plenary session on synthetic & novel approaches in virology. Prof. Mark Bathe from MIT opened the session with a talk on DNA origami vaccines. He was followed by SynthImmune co-spokesperson Prof. Kerstin Göpfrich, who gave a talk on RNA Design as new folds for synthetic immune cells.
