The lab of SynthImmune PI Dominik Niopek has published a paper in the journal Nature Communications entitled “Phage-assisted evolution of allosteric protein switches”.
In it, the authors introduce a phage-assisted evolution platform for the in vivo optimization of allosteric proteins. By coupling dynamic selection with deep mutational scanning and temporal sequencing, their system enables both functional optimization and mechanistic insight into allosteric networks.
